SUNDAY, OCT 5, 7:30 PM-FRED EAGLESMITH– Fred Eaglesmith is a Canadian singer/songwriter of some renown.  He is thought of by many in the industry to be one of the top lyrical and musical talents of our day.  His songs have been covered by some of the biggest names in Nashville including Toby Keith, Miranda Lambert and Alan Jackson.  He has performed on the same bill as such artists as Willie Nelson, Dwight Yoakam, George Jones, Merle Haggard Tammy Wynette, John Pryne to name a few.  He is a great storyteller and his songs can be amusing to poignant. He and his band The Travelling Steam Show have been musical guests on the Late Show with David Letterman. He also loves to tour small town Canada where he often has pie auctions in support of ‘Operation Smile’.  

WED, OCT 8, 7:30 PM-VISHTEN- Vishten is a powerhouse Acadian music trio They perform at venues throughout the world.  They sing modern interpretations of traditional Acadian songs.  Their music also is strongly influenced by the Celtic tradition.  This is a world class band that will have your toes tapping.

INTERACTIVE OPEN REHEARSAL WITH ANGELE DUBEAU AND LA PIETA 5-6 pm on October 15 – This 1 hour interactive event  is an opportunity to listen to the artists perform, to listen to Angele Dubeau speak about the band and to engage in a question and answer period. Everyone is invited to attend free of charge if you are attending the concert (you must pick up your complimentary ticket at the Box Office).   OPEN REHEARSAL TICKETS are $10 each for those people not attending the concert.  For more details check out the website at www.earawlinsoncentre.ca
