Melfort couple wins more than $500K in Lotto Max

Even small town residents can win a huge lottery prize if they buy a ticket.

Donna and Clifford Dahl will be able travel debt free just like they had always dreamed.

They won $531,981.50 from a Lotto Max draw on Aug. 29 from a $6 Quick Pick ticket they bought.

The next day the couple went online to check their numbers. The surprise kicked in when they realized they had matched six main numbers and the Bonus on one line.

After checking their numbers, the couple went back to Prairie North Co-op in Melfort, where they had purchased the ticket. The retailer confirmed their lottery win.
