The fall session of Today’s Country 900 CKBI’s Internet Action Auction launches today with a new look.

The area’s largest online auction has undergone some upgrades to make it easier to navigate and browse categories. Eventually for the next auction in January it will also allow bidders to pay online.

“The new look Is fresh and new and gives bidders a better overall experience for the people that participate in our auctions,” said Tyler Kinash, sales manager of Today’s Country 900 CKBI. “It is much more visual then our old software so as you go into each item you will be able to get a description and more pictures of every item available to be won. ”

To sum it up Kinash said the new software is more like what we see nowadays for online auctions. He said it provides a more friendly shopping environment similar to something like eBay.

As a result of the software changes past users and bidders will be required to re-register with a new username and password before they are able to place a bid. Kinash said that process should be quick and easy without hassle.

Users will have until October 15 to the browse the site and place a bid. Bidding will close in one minute intervals starting at 9 a.m. that morning.
