Progress is being made on the construction of Regina's new Wastewater Treatment Plant.
On Thursday morning, officials from the City of Regina and EPCOR Water Prairies Inc met with the media to give an update on the construction so far.
There has already been 260,000 cubic meters of soil removed from the site. When done, the soil removed will be enough to fill 124 Olympic-size swimming pools.
