Guilty plea for dog biter
A man accused of biting a police dog after a bizarre incident at Little Red River Park is pleading guilty to the charges that followed.
Rusty Hearn, 20, was reportedly driving under the influence when police followed and tried to arrest him at 2:30 a.m. on Sept. 9, according to Prince Albert Police Service.
When trying to evade the officers, Hearn’s car hit a ditch, police say. He then ran away, in the nude.
Police added Jagger the police dog was bit during their pursuit.
