RCMP responds to weekend gun complaint

A man was arrested in northern Saskatchewan following an incident with a firearm on Saturday night.

Around 11:40 p.m. the La Ronge RCMP were called to the Sucker River First Nation, Lac La Ronge Indian Band, after receiving complaints of a man discharging a firearm at several homes, vehicles and into the air.

Craig Larson of the Sucker River First Nation was taken into custody without incident.

He’s been charged with several firearm related offenses including, possession of a weapon dangerous to the public, careless use of a firearm, unauthorized possession of a firearm and two counts of mischief that endangered life.
