Rawlco sells radio stations in four markets, including Prince Albert

Rawlco Radio has sold its radio stations in Prince Albert, North Battleford, Meadow Lake and Edmonton to the Jim Pattison Broadcast Group.

The deal is subject to CRTC approval.

Rawlco will still own radio stations in Saskatoon, Regina and Calgary.

Staff will stay on and the management teams will remain.

The purchase also includes the online newspaper paNOW.com, that serves Prince Albert and area.

The Jim Pattison Broadcast Group is the country’s largest, private, western based broadcast group.

They currently operate 33 FM stations, as well as three TV stations.
