The weekend was a fairly quiet one for Parkland Ambulance paramedics. They were called in for 52 incidents.
At 3:15 p.m. on Saturday, paramedics responded to an assault on the Sturgeon Lake reserve, and a 20-year-old man was taken to hospital for minor injuries.
Around 5:30 p.m. that day, paramedics were called to a car accident on the Riverside Drive overpass off the Diefenbaker Bridge. No one was injured though.
