Canada beats Finland 3-0 in women’s hockey

SOCHI, Russia – Jayna Hefford had a goal and an assist to lead Canada to a 3-0 win over Finland in the Olympic women's hockey tournament Monday.
Rebecca Johnston and Megan Agosta-Marciano also scored for the Canadians, who improved to 2-0 in the tournament.
The game was scoreless after two periods, but Agosta-Marciano of Ruthven, Ont., sparked Canada's offence with a power-play goal midway through the third period.
Canada's Shannon Szabados made 14 saves for the shutout. Finland's Noora Raty stopped 39 of 42 shots.
