Christian Women’s Clubs of Prince Albert

Christian Women’s Clubs of Canada are part of Stonecroft Ministries, a non-denominational, non-profit Christian organization whose vision is
• to invite women into relationship[ with God through Jesus Christ
• to inspire hope, growth and passionate living
• to provide opportunities to invest generously in the lives of others.

Originally inspired by an impromptu gathering of a few friends in California almost 60 years ago, the idea spread across the continent and was brought to Prince Albert in 1972. Groups get together once a month, and adhere to a similar format with a meal, special feature, music and inspirational speaker. The feature presentation is always entertaining, something from the community to peak the interest of women with diverse backgrounds and ages. Music is usually performed by talented local people, while the speakers who share their stories come from Saskatchewan or neighbouring provinces.

The two groups in Prince Albert each meet at the Travelodge, usually on the third Monday of the month. For information or reservations:
For the Morning Group which meets at 9:30, contact: Verda at 763-6931 or Lucille at 763-5126.
