Toyota filling a truck to help the food bank
Up to 22,000 people per month in Saskatchewan rely on the food bank to make ends meet.
Over the Christmas season it’s hard for Canadian food banks to provide people with what they need because their supply is depleted, said Toyota’s new car manager, Rob Hemsworth.
There is a significant drop in food and cash donations between January and April, he said. This is why Prairie Toyota dealerships are working together to replenish the shelves at local food banks around Canada.
