Aug 1, 2013 | 8:17 AM

The victim of a fatal accident in a Tim Hortons parking lot at the corner of 15th Street West and Second Avenue West is an 18-year-old man.

He had been riding his bike in the area before he collided with the side of a delivery truck.

According to Prince Albert police, he was thrown under the wheels of the truck and pronounced dead on scene.

No charges are being filed in relation to the incident, which police are calling “a very tragic accident.”

Mary Ann Sola, manager of the Tim Hortons location, said she was taking orders at the drive thru at the time of the collision. She said there was a line-up at the drive thru.

“I didn’t see what happened, only that the police asked me to close the drive thru and that’s it.”

She said the employees in the store were “all shaking.”

“You can see that there’s a person laying at the street. And we didn’t know, because we are not allowed to go out.”

The store was closed temporarily and has since been re-opened.

The driver of the dairy truck is the regular driver that delivers milk to Tim Hortons.

“The driver himself asked us to call 911.”
