Grown Ups 2

I was expecting a whole lot more from this movie. The cast alone should be worth the price of admission. Days after watching it though, I am still confused what it was about. The story goes nowhere and the direction is pointless.

Don’t get me wrong, I still laughed a lot. I’m a big fan of Happy Madison productions. There are lots of great one-liners and funny moments but that is pretty much all this movie offers. If you are looking for a comedy with substance, I recommend “The Heat.”

As I mentioned before, “Grown Ups 2” delivers an all-star cast. Pretty much the who’s-who of Adam Sandler’s SNL days make appearances. Cheri Oteri is especially funny. Other noticeable appearances include Shaq and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin.

Anyone else remember the J. Geils band???

I recommend you wait to rent this one.
