Top Sports Stories of 2012; shooter Gyoerick travels the world

Jeremy Gyoerick's emergence as one of the best air pistol shooters in Canada is one of the top ten stories of 2012.

For most, shooting is a hobby or something to do on the weekends, but for Gyoerick it's a ticket to go all around the world.

Gyoerick's next stop is down under for the Australian Youth Olympics Festival, after visiting Kazan, Russia in September for the World University Shooting Championships.

The Youth Olympics Festival will take place in Sydney January 16-20.

Gyoerick solidified him status on the national stage and his international reputation in August.
