Multiple charges following Prince Albert drug bust

On Thursday the Prince Albert Integrated Street Enforcement Team executed a search warrant on a residence in Prince Albert.

The search warrant was executed in the 1800-block of 15th Street East and as a result of the search two men were taken into custody.

Police seized approximately 30 grams of cocaine and methamphetamine, a small amount of marijuana and $2,345 in cash.

The two men taken into custody were 41-year-old Greg Klyne and 44-year-old Michael Thomson, both from Prince Albert.

Klyne is facing charges of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of proceeds of crime, obstructing a peace officer and two counts of breaching an undertaking.

Thomson is facing charges of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of proceeds of crime and obstructing a peace officer.

Both men have been remanded in custody and will both make their second appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court on Nov. 5.
