A Moose Jaw man has to give up a pair of sizable trophees and pay a $5,000 fine.
Jeffrey Sereda was recently convicted on two counts of unlawfully importing bears. He had two bear hides and skulls at his home. The province says the animals were killed in the Yukon before being brought into Saskatchewan. That is illegal, according to the Saskatchewan Wildlife Act.
Sereda is also banned from hunting for one year.
