A Saskatoon man wanted for murder in Edmonton is in police custody after being arrested on Monday by Spiritwood RCMP.
Eddie Charles Binning, 21, was arrested without incident at a residence on the Witchekan Lake First Nation. RCMP said Binning turned himself in after becoming aware of the warrant.
Binning was the subject of a Canada-wide warrant issued by the Edmonton Police Service for the death of Daniel Edward Barata, 41, on May 23.
Binning is being returned to Edmonton where he’ll be formally charged with second-degree murder.
