
Sask. Pen employee facing charges after drug bust at prison
An employee at the Saskatchewan Penitentiary in Prince Albert is facing drug charges following an incident last week at the prison.
“On April 20th members of the provincial GIS unit began an investigation in relation to drug trafficking at the Saskatchewan Penitentiary in Prince Albert, after RCMP received a complaint from the penitentiary,” RCMP Sgt. Paul Dawson.
The complaint from the prison was made about 8:30 a.m..
As a result of the investigation, 26-year-old Danielle Spence from Prince Albert is now charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, and trafficking marijuana.
