Ghost Hunting in Prince Albert
Here’s a challenge for you ghost hunters in Prince Albert: try to visit all these spooky spots in one night….
1) Start at the old fire hall, now the home of the Prince Albert Historical Museum. There is a rumour among the staff that a poltergeist living in the tower followed a tour guide down the ladder, and now resides in the basement, making noise and slamming doors. Even if you don’t believe in ghosts, the combination of artefacts, stories and aged mannequins is sure to give you a chill.
2) Everyone has heard about the Prince Albert Arts Centre being haunted. There are reportedly two spirits that make noise, turn on lights, show their faces in the windows and sometimes even play music. One of these ghosts may be the Hoo Sam’s business partner who was shot on the steps of the Art Centre which was then City Hall. Learn more about this story at the museum of Police and Corrections.
3) Hans Bridge is a small cement bridge in Little Red River Park. Put your car in neutral on the bridge and wait for a push… then inspect the back of the car for tiny handprints. There are several stories that attempt to explain this, the most popular tells of a school bus that went over the edge of the bridge.
