Saskatchewan’s minimum wage to go up

Aug 17, 2011 | 2:47 PM

About 22,000 employees in Saskatchewan will get a small raise next month.

Effective Sept. 1, the province's minimum wage will go up 25 cents to $9.50/hour.

That also means there's a corresponding increase to the minimum call-out pay to $28.50.

People earning minimum wage represent about five per cent of the paid workforce in the province.
