Names released following cocaine and gun seizure
The Prince Albert Police Service has released a few more details about a weekend arrest that included cocaine and a sawed-off shotgun.
Officers responded to an anonymous weapons complaint on 13th Street East, where they found two individuals, one of which was carrying a backpack. In the backpack, officers found a loaded sawed-off shotgun and a significant amount of cocaine on the individual.
Sgt. Kelly McLean would not specify how much cocaine was seized, but did say that it was “definitely enough to distribute.”
The police have now charged two people in connection with the seizure – 27-year-old Daniel Roland Dagenais is charged with possession of cocaine and a prohibited weapon and a 28-year-old woman from Canwood is facing charges for breaching her probation.
