Aug 15, 2011 | 4:38 PM

A new watershed protection plan is being developed in the Moose Jaw region of Saskatchewan for Old Wives Lake, Chaplin Lake and Wood River.

The agreement was made today between the Saskatchewan Watershed Authority and the Old Wives Watershed Association.

Gary Neil, with the Watershed Authority, said the agreement has been in the works for a year, and plans like this are already in place across many regions of the province.

The Old Wives Association is now in the process of compiling background data, which will be used to create the plan.
