Melfort power outage

Faulty equipment is to blame for a power outage in Melfort.

The power went out just after 2 p.m. Leanne Jarocki, SaskPower spokeswoman, said there are about 1,200 customers affected and they hope to have the power back on by 4 p.m.

The problem crews are working on is faulty equipment at the Melfort sub-station, she said.
