Let the mud fly

The dirt was flying this afternoon at the exhibition centre.

Today was Motor Madness, a fundraiser for Buckland Fire and Rescue. The event featured mud bogging, redneck races, demolition derby, burnout contests and a show and shine.

All the money raised goes to buy new equipment for the volunteer fire department and to keep it up and running.

It kicked off at 10 a.m. and runs until about 6 p.m. Right after the burnouts there is a cruise night where licensed cruisers and specialty vehicles will drive up and down 15th Street East from First Avenue to 15th Avenue.
