The latest Rolling Stone edition featuring an article on The Sheepdogs has some people in Saskatoon in uproar, with the magazine describing a local bar as less a singles bar than a “sex farm for blithering drunks … (with) toothless degenerates, binge-drinking collegians and alcoholic members of the First Nations.”
However, bassist Ryan Gullen was on John Gormley Live Thursday morning and sees how people would be mad, but shouldn't read too much into it.
“Rolling Stone is known for taking the saltier aspects of things and putting them in for entertainment purposes.”
Gullen says he and his band mates have nothing but great things to say about their home town and province.
