It was tough to complain about the weather for the summer fair this year, but Mother Nature had other ideas on the closing night.
A pair of thunderstorms rolled through Prince Albert Saturday evening. The rain and lightning forced the midway to shutdown early and by 10 p.m. staff decided to call off the fireworks.
The P.A. Ex still went out with a bang, as the lightning provided the light show instead of the fireworks.
