Youth Talent Competition Winners

The 2011 Youth Talent Competition winners were decided Wednesday evening at the Prince Albert Exhibition Summer Fair. The competition, which began with auditions in May, selected six semi-finalists from a field of 22.

The six competed for the title of Prince Albert Youth Talent Winner in two categories:
Juniors (Ages 7 to 12)
First – Rene Constant of James Smith First Nation
Second – Wyatt Bernier of Prince Albert
Third – Teigan Leather of Shellbrook

Seniors (Ages 13 to 21)
First – Allison Strong of Prince Albert
Second – Brookelynn Tetzlaff of Viscount
Third – Rebecca Marcotte of Prince Albert

The first place winners now move on to the Provincial Youth Talent Competition held during the Saskatoon Exhibition.
