Saskatchewan Roughrider themed ice cream launches in Regina

The list of Saskatchewan Roughrider merchandise continues to grow with the addition of “Rider Pride” ice cream.

A cereal called Dario's, and All Dressler chips are two other examples of the brand's foray into the food industry.

Friday marked the official launch of the Roughrider themed dessert at the Italian Star Deli in Regina.

Co-Owner Jerry Kristian said it's about Saskatchewan.

“We're a local company, we're from Saskatchewan — so are the Riders, the Riders fan base,” said Kristian, adding that he’s confident the ice cream will be a hit.
