Regina police chase suspect of stolen vehicle

A driver making minor traffic infraction turned into a short chase for Regina police Friday night.

Just before 9:30 p.m., police pulled over a Honda Civic at Argyle Street and 7th Avenue, only to discover it was stolen.

Officers managed to get the driver to stop, but the driver took off on foot.

After a short chase, police arrested the 38-year-old man. The incident is still under investigation, but police say possession of stolen property charges are pending.
