Man found guilty of shooting a Carrot River RCMP officer

A judge has found a Saskatchewan man guilty of shooting an off-duty Mountie five years ago in Carrot River.
The man, who was 16 at the time of the shooting, was convicted of discharging a firearm with intent to injure.
He'll be sentenced in October at which time the judge will decide if his conviction will be as an adult or as a young offender.
Const. Gregory Toogood's arm was shattered when he was shot at the back door of his home on Jan. 16, 2006.
