Wanted man captured

Bruce Neil Ahenakew was arrested late Wednesday afternoon by Prince Albert police at the Players lounge in the Travelodge without incident.

The RCMP issued a media release Monday asking for the publics’ assistance in locating the 27-year-old, who was wanted on charges of assault with a weapon, disguise with intent to commit a break and enter and failure to comply with the sex offender registry.

Ahenakew is currently in police custody and will be attending court at a later date.
