Fun in the mud

Somewhere a parent is shuddering and they don't know why.

That's because dozens of kids participated city's Playground Program, which today featured jumping in a mud pit and getting covered in the muck from head to toe.

Not too much laundry was created however because the kids were hosed down when they were done.

There were also less-dirty options including using a the wading pool and general outdoor activities.

Throughout the month of July, diffirent themed events were held around the city.
