Highway 39 south of Estevan is closed due to water eroding a bridge in the area, according to the Ministry of Highways.
The highway is closed from the U.S. border to the Highway 18 Junction.
Detours are in place with message boards warning motorists.
Those heading to the North Portal border crossing will be sent to another crossing.
Traffic is also down to one lane for about one kilometre just west of Macoun.
