Yorkton-area dogs who ate dead owners’ remains adopted

Seven dogs were found near Yorkton last week living off their dead owner's remains.

After a strong behavioral and health assessment, they've found new homes.

“We're very confident the dogs will thrive in their new community,” said Marv LeNabat, with the SPCA.

LeNabat can't say much about where the dogs will live.

“We do know the dogs went to very loving homes and if there is a child in the home, we are not concerned at all,” said LeNabat.
