More charges in One Arrow theft, assault

RCMP have laid more charges in an incident that goes back three weeks.

On Thursday they said that they have charged 18-year-old Wesley Muskego with two counts of mischief and theft under $5,000. He is from One Arrow First Nation.

The charges date back to June 26 at about 6 a.m.

He was allegedly the 18-year-old victim of Jason Uhryn, 30, of Wakaw.

Uhryn was charged with aggravated assault, uttering threats and assault with a weapon after Muskego was found on a farm near One Arrow First Nation with injuries to his facial area, arms and wrist.

Muskego was transported to Rosthern Hospital and later to a hospital in Saskatoon for examination.

RCMP have confirmed that the two accused were charged for their alleged roles in one incident.

The will both be appearing in Wakaw Provincial Court on Aug. 22.
