Jul 10, 2011 | 4:22 PM

July 16th is Parks Day! Join in the celebration at Waskesiu, Prince Albert National Park!

Located just 90km north of Prince Albert, Waskesiu is a short drive for visitors coming for Parks Day or for the weekend activities. We invite visitors to celebrate Parks Day with us and offer FREE ENTRY to the national park.

First celebrated in 1990, Canada’s Parks Day is an opportunity for park staff, friends and volunteers to invite visitors and residents from nearby communities to join in celebrating Canada’s parks and historic sites from coast to coast to coast. Thus, we invite everyone to come out and celebrate with us!
