Historical Tour Guides Wait to Meet You

The Prince Albert Museums have been open for a month, our bright, shiny new group of tour guides would love to meet you. We have hired twelve tour guides; most of them were born and raised in the Prince Albert area. They are all in university, from several different areas of study, from fine art to biology to engineering. Although they are quite different, you could take a tour of the same museum from each of our guides and you would learn something new each time, they have a shared interest in history of their community. They enjoy giving tours of all four museums and the walking tour, everyone has a favourite section:

“My favourite thing about the museums is the patio at the historical museum. It’s a nice place to eat lunch,” says Sarah.

Beth likes researching in the archives. “It’s like detective work!”

So whether you’re looking for information about your ancestors, a fancy tea party or want a fun tour with your kids, the tour guides are happy to help. See you soon!

The Tea Room is open for business, as Sarah said it is a great place for lunch. It is open to the public! Tea Room memberships are available for $10 a year and that includes admission to the Historical Museum and 5 free drinks. Feel free to drop in and take a look, the view is amazing!
