Conexus Credit Union to sell Century 21 Conexus Realty

Conexus Credit Union is announcing the sale of Century 21 Conexus Realty.

Saskatchewan's largest credit union got into real estate back in 2003. Interim Conexus CEO Ken Shaw says they hoped to leverage new clients for both organizations.

“It was hoped that it would be a mutually beneficial two-way referral process,” he said.

He now admits they weren't as successful as intended, but Conexus didn't lose any money on the venture.

Shaw says the sale allows for Conexus to focus on their core business in financial services.

There will be three, new separate franchises in Regina, Saskatoon and Prince Albert. A deal for the sale of the Moose Jaw office is still in the works.

The details of the sale and the new owners aren't being revealed.

Regina, Saskatoon and Prince Albert offices will be under new owners on July 1.
