Man disappears before trial

Chad Sinclair was scheduled to be on trial at Prince Albert’s Court of Queen’s Bench for a stabbing.

However, he has gone missing and a bench warrant for his arrest has been issued.

A source told paNOW.com that it is rumoured that Sinclair, 22 at the time of the incident, has gone back home to Jamaica.

The stabbing occurred on Aug. 7, 2010 at 1 a.m. at the Prince Albert Exhibition.

The victim, a 17-year-old boy, was stabbed about four times in the back, resulting in severe injuries.

The Prince Albert Police Service said it is believed the incident came from a dispute over the sale of narcotics.

Sinclair was charged with numerous offences, including aggravated assault, possession of a weapon, and trafficking of a narcotic.

He was working with West Coast Amusement at the time of the alleged incident.
