Police in search of robbery suspects

Suspects in two unrelated robberies on Saturday are still at large, according to the Prince Albert Police Service.

The first one happened just before 12:45 in the morning.

A 16-year-old was robbed of his bunny hug and wallet by three males, one of whom had a kitchen knife.

Police responded to the 300 block of 14th Street West. The jacket was found three blocks away. The from 16-year-old victim was not hurt in the incident.

A second robbery involving a knife on Saturday night at around 10:50 also involved three people, one female and two masked males.

Police were called to the 200 Block of 6th Street East where suspects demanded cash and medication from a 37-year-old woman and 60-year-old man. The man suffered minor injuries in the robbery.

In both cases the suspects are still at large.

According to Staff Sergeant David Schluff of the Prince Albert Police Service, they do not believe the incidents are related as they have do have a lead and continue to investigate.
