Schwartz family holds OneMatch donor event in Regina

She may not be with us anymore, but Mandi Schwartz is still helping people.

Friends of the Schwartz family are holding a OneMatch donor event in Regina to help carry on Mandi's cause.

Mandi, a hockey player from Wilcox, publicly lost her battle with cancer in April. She was 23. She’d received a transplant through the bone-marrow registry.

Her family is encouraging everyone to register in the stem cell and marrow donor network. In minutes, volunteers can sign up for the registry by giving their information and swabbing the inside of their cheek.
