Black fly control underway

The Black Fly Control Program is out in full force near Prince Albert, today.

Officers are conducing larvicide treatment on the Northerly Saskatchewan River from Prince Albert to the Forks.

A biological pesticide is being used.

Downstream users of the river are advised to use standard water purification techniques for human consumption.

The pesticide has no effect on livestock using the water.
