Rising water along Lake Diefenbaker levels off

It's good news for farmers and residents along Lake Diefenbaker as the rising water has been levelling off.
John Fahlman with the Saskatchewan Watershed Authority says the release of more water depends entirely on Alberta's weather.
“If we get some volumes of runoff from significant rain in Alberta we'll have to look at it again and maybe adjust (the release) upwards or downwards depending on what we're seeing come in,” he said.
Last week's forecast called for plenty of rain in Alberta this week, but it’s turning out to be much less rainfall than expected.
