Pool stolen from home in PA

Jun 2, 2011 | 6:37 AM

Fabian Thomas and his family awoke Wednesday morning to an unbelievable sight.

“We looked out, and our 12×12 foot pool was stolen last night, with the water in it,” Thomas said.

The door to the back gate was wide open and a trail of water could be seen for about half a block from his home on the 1500 block of 12th Street West down the gravel back alley Thomas said.

“They had to have drained the water out, because there was a trail, they must have dragged it right out of our yard, opened our gate, drained it right out, down the street about half a block. So they must have dragged it or drained it or whatever,” said Thomas.

Thomas said the thieves took everything: the pool, the water, the pump … they just forgot one thing.

“Whoever stole it forgot to take the chlorine and pool kit. Whoever took it, come and get the rest of the pool supply,” said Thomas and he laughed.

“At least bring us back the water.”

The 12×12 foot Intex pool is blue in colour, dark blue at the top and light blue at the bottom.

If anyone has information as to the whereabouts of the stolen pool, call the Prince Albert Police Service at 953-4222.
