Charges laid in hockey change room assault

Regina RCMP have laid charges after an assault in a shower room at the Sherwood Twin Arenas.
On May 18, two players from opposing teams were ejected from a game for fighting. Around 11 p.m. Mounties were called to the ice rink.
Matthew Allan Ross, 19, is accused of going into the other team's change room and assaulting another man with a hockey stick in the shower.
After turning himself into police May 27, Ross is facing four charges including aggravated assault, assault with a weapon and uttering threats.
