School girls’ encounters with “suspicious man” in Saskatoon may be related
Saskatoon police say two young female elementary school students have reported before-school encounters with what is being called a “suspicious man,” and they believe it might be the same person.
“You know, it's something that we wouldn't rule out,” said Const. TishaRae Stonehouse.
Both girls go to the same school in the 3000 block of Arlington Avenue, which is Pope John Paul II School in the Eastview neighbourhood.
The first incident happened on May 16, when a man allegedly offered a nine-year-old girl candy while she was walking to school in a nearby park.
