STF, province return to table

A return to the table today for teachers and the province, but it may have a different tone this time around.

Teachers will be pulling out of all voluntary services starting tomorrow.

It means no class trips, no sports — no nothing.

Regina guidance counselor Sejal Pilatzke admits it's unfortunate, but it's one of the few tools teachers have left. She said the government needs to get more money together instead of threatening that more strike days could impact final exams or graduation.

The school boards' Sandi Urban-Hall admits graduation ceremonies is the one thing that might be bulletproof.
