Saskatchewan men charged in porn bust

Seven Saskatchewan men have been charged after possessing and distributing child pornography.

An online investigation by the Saskatchewan ICE Unit led police to the men, who are between the ages of 25 and 58.

Police executed nine search warrants between Feb. 1 and April 21. Numerous computers and other electronics were seized. Investigators will run a detailed forensic analysis on the computers.

Several locations in Saskatchewan were identified by police, including Churchbridge, Moose Jaw, Raymore, Regina and Saskatoon.

The seven men have appeared in court and have been released on conditions as their matters proceed through the courts.

Police say they have not identified a connection between the men charged and the children found in the abuse images.

The Saskatchewan ICE Unit is comprised of the RCMP, the Regina Police Service, the Saskatoon Police Service and the Prince Albert Police Service.
