Global Partners is Looking For Host Families

Global Partners needs Summer Host Families Global Partners Institute is a nonprofit agency that brings Japanese high school students to our city and province. We are urgently looking for families to host students for two groups coming to Prince Albert this summer.

The first group is arriving on July 22nd and departing on August 3rd. The program these high school girls will be participating in is a combination of English Language and visiting local lakes and other points of interest. Host siblings age 10 and older can participate in the program free of charge.

The second group of female and male students will arrive on July 23rd and leave on August 20th. Their program is a form of English Language ‘boot camp’. Following the completion of their program they will be going to various communities in Saskatchewan to attend high school for the next school year.

40 host families are required to include these students as family members.

GPI’s definition of a family is a home where two or more related people are living at the time of hosting. GPI places only one student in each host home.
