Windy day in store for southwest Saskatchewan

A wind warning has been issued by Environment Canada for the southwest corner of Saskatchewan
Strong southeast winds are expected to develop this morning, starting in the Shaunavon region.
Those winds are then expected to move into the Cyrpress Hills region, accoring to meterologist Mark Melsness.
“Through the Maple Creek area particulary where winds tend to gust and off to Cypress Hills, and that's why we have gusts up to 90 in there”
